WHY A PROGRESSION

IN DESIGN

We operate under the Communications Act 2003, the Digital Economy Act 2017 and the GPDO 2015, granting Electronic Communications Code rights facilitating businesses like ours to rapidly deploy this critical telecommunications infrastructure across the UK.

Whilst this is a positive initiative, and has since served to help enhance telecommunications infrastructure, under the GPDO 2015 it does prescribe a particular traditional telephone kiosk aesthetic and functionality and has not been updated since its enactment in line with the technological advancements of today.

In due course, we are confident that the legislation and regulations will be refreshed to reflect the dynamism of this sector, allowing a more current interpretation of the telephone kiosk as seen in many of the World's leading and developing economies, but for now we are phasing our product design within what is permitted.

Maximus Networks Evolution

AN EVOLUTION IN TIME

Max 1 is designed within the confines of the current regulations yet still represents a significant progression in the sector by incorporating space to house small cell equipment installed by mobile network operators and WiFi routers. This hardware will provide much needed mobile phone signal, data gap coverage and free public WiFi.

Whilst we are establishing our network using the Max 1 design, we’ve already completed the design of Max 2 within the boundaries of GPDO 2015 and are in early production for its imminent deployment.

Our vision and ambitions will be realised when we can work in partnership with Local Councils across the country to install Max 3, designed to place the UK ahead of the World in its Smart City Infrastructure.

You will see on our website products page, in addition to the functions of Max 1 and Max 2, Max 3 houses the most advanced and highly-functional technology of its type, bringing huge benefits to all sectors of the community from people to businesses and Local Councils themselves.
